--version isn't an option, -v and -V are verbose and not verbose, respectively, and --help gives the version... and much more. How do you display just the version from the command prompt?

I don't think the rimraf bin has that, but patch welcome. npm ls rimraf also always there for you.

Also the version is shown on the first line of rimraf --help.
