Parent page scroll when scrolling inside long md-select dropdown

What is the expected behavior?

Parent page with scrollbar does not scroll when scrolling inside md-select dropdown

What is the current behavior?

The md-select dropdown has fixed position in the page. When scrolling a long md-select dropdown (with scrollbar) in parent page (which is also with scrollbar), the parent page scrolls together with the select dropdown.

What are the steps to reproduce?

Which versions of Angular, Material, OS, browsers are affected?

OS: Windows 8.1, 10
Browsers: Chrome 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit), IE 11, Firefox 52.0a2 (32-bit)
Angular: 2.2.0
Material: 2.0.0-beta.1

Will this be synced with AngularJS/Material? I'm noticing the same issue there.
